We are a team of 24 people based in France or in the United States (North Carolina), passionate and committed, with professional teaching skills and expertise in complementary areas of business.
Within the Production team, reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator is responsible for managing the production of reagents in one or two production activities (e.g., preparation, distribution, packaging, washing, production logistics, etc.), respecting deadlines, procedures, as well as safety and quality standards, using the recording tools provided. The Production Operator also participates in the service's activity: onboarding new arrivals, conducting safety and environmental visits, etc.
What will be your mission at bioMérieux?
* Perform various production steps by applying the operating procedures and respecting the procedures related to the process and the Service. Prepare your workstation along the production line and ensure the supply of materials and consumables. Clean your workstation (including clearing the production line).
* Comply with current quality assurance, environmental, and safety regulations. Complete all relevant documentation for your workstation along the production line.
* Report any anomalies or malfunctions encountered during production operations to the manager.
* Perform first-level preventive and curative maintenance tasks.
* Suggest improvements to activity, safety, quality, and environmental practices.
* Implement all production steps across various activities by applying operational methods and adhering to current procedures. Develop broad competencies in other production activities.
* If required, record consumption or stock entries, and place orders through the ERP system.
* Regularly propose process and procedure improvements.
* Adjust machines as needed.
* Participate in training newcomers through apprenticeship and serve as a tutor.
* Engage in continuous improvement groups, proposing enhancements for your workstation and the overall process. Participate in quality and safety visits.
Who are you?
* Secondary Education is mandatory.
* Knowledge of the industrial environment.
* Effective communication with other departments (Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain, etc.).
* Understanding of production procedures and processes across various activities.
* Ability to train and pass on skills to newcomers.
* Technical knowledge of machinery.
* Familiarity with continuous improvement tools.
