About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion for our neo banking business. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong commercial relationships, and developing strategic initiatives that support the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B financial services, payments, or fintech, combining strategic thinking with strong execution skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. New Business Acquisition
· Identify, target, and engage potential corporate and institutional clients aligned with the company’s product offering.
· Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and onboarding.
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and ensure effective conversion.
2. Partnership Development
· Establish and manage relationships with key industry partners, including payment providers, technology vendors, and financial institutions.
· Explore collaboration opportunities that enhance the company’s product suite or geographic reach.
· Negotiate partnership agreements and monitor performance to ensure commercial alignment.
3. Market Research & Opportunity Analysis
· Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.
· Provide input into the go-to-market strategy for new products or jurisdictions.
· Prepare business cases and financial projections to support expansion initiatives.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Product, Compliance, Legal, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth deal execution.
· Coordinate internal resources to align business development priorities with operational capabilities.
· Contribute feedback from clients and partners to guide product development and service improvements.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
· Track KPIs including revenue targets, conversion rates, and client retention metrics.
· Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and the Board on business development progress.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and business tracking systems.
Requirements
· Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within fintech, banking, or payments sectors.
· Strong understanding of financial products, digital banking models, and regulatory environments (AML, PSD2, MiCA).
· Proven success in generating and closing B2B deals with measurable results.
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
· Fluency in English and Russian is required.
