As a Materials Management Specialist (m/f/d), you will report to the Plant Materials Manager within Supply Chain. The position is based in La Roca and offered on a fixed-term contract (12 months).
As a Materials Management Specialist, you are responsible for planning, synchronizing, and managing all materials (raw, semi-finished, and finished) across your assigned production areas to ensure optimal product availability within the Hager Group supply network.
Tasks
* Plan, monitor, and optimize materials in SAP; create purchase orders
* Coordinate with internal, external, and subcontracted suppliers
* Manage subcontractor materials
* Process customer orders and communicate availability dates
* Escalate procurement, material, or customer service issues promptly
* Support production planning, performance analysis, and inventory optimization
* Drive problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
* Degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain/Logistics focus preferred) or equivalent commercial qualification with relevant experience
* Several years’ experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes and product knowledge
* SAP (MM, SD) and MS Office proficiency
* Fluent English (French a plus)
* Customer-focused, responsible, and analytical mindset
* Strong team, communication, and organizational skills
* Independent, goal-oriented, flexible, hands-on, and resilient
