You will professionalise the procurement function, strengthen supplier performance, drive savings and efficiencies, and ensure supply reliability in a volatile market.This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director and is central to the company\'s ongoing transformation and growth.Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement & Process Development Lead and professionalise the purchasing function at their Greater Madrid-based industrial site.Develop procurement strategies ensuring cost optimisation, continuity of supply, and best‐in‐class processes.Implement and maintain procurement governance, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.Lead continuous‐improvement initiatives and supply‐risk mitigation plans.
Category Management & High‐Value Negotiation Manage direct and indirect purchasing categories, including raw materials, logistics, industrial services, and CAPEX.Lead complex negotiations with major industrial and energy suppliers.Build long‐term supplier relationships and optimise supplier portfolios.Identify and execute cost‐saving initiatives aligned with corporate targets.
Operational Procurement & Supply Continuity Oversee day‐to‐day procurement operations, ensuring accuracy in planning, purchasing, and stock management.Collaborate closely with production, logistics, finance, quality, and R&D teams.Maintain appropriate safety stocks and risk strategies in a highly dynamic supply environment.
Leadership & Cross‐Functional Influence Manage and develop a small procurement team.Engage and influence senior internal stakeholders to support procurement initiatives.Represent the company at supplier meetings and, occasionally, international industry events.
