Could you be the full-time Train Control & Information System Engineer in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in control systems within a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive teammates.
You'll define the architecture and functionalities of a TC&IS subsystem (PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment) in compliance with various requirements. Daily tasks include working closely with production and engineering teams, ensuring system integration into the train and more.
You’ll specifically perform control engineering activities for one or several functions, from architecture to detailed specifications, interface, and diagrams such as LD3.
We’ll look to you for:
* Deliver subsystem documentation (RSAD, TPS, ICD)
* Define and implement subsystem requirements
* Integrate the subsystem into the train mechanically and electrically
* Define mechanical and electrical interfaces
* Formulate low voltage and software control design solutions
* Deliver engineering outputs including FDD, electrical schemes, and product definitions
* Verify the subsystem, including design reviews
* Manage changes and configurations at train level
* Support sourcing, suppliers, and engineering teams
* Contribute during train integration and share experiences
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. Skills that will help you succeed include:
* Industrial Engineering Degree
* At least 3 years of experience with subsystems in rail
* Understanding of system engineering processes and methodologies
* Experience in electrical, electromechanical, or automation engineering (1-2 years minimum)
* Knowledge of network topologies and industrial communication interfaces
* Good communication skills
* Fluent English
