We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance & Engineering Coordinator for our Alvalle plant in Murcia.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance processes for all plant equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency while meeting safety and quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance, following PepsiCo methodologies (PEMM).
- Implement and execute the preventive maintenance agenda in the Murcia plant, ensuring excellence in execution, product quality, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with IPS standards related to equipment and processes through effective action plans.
- Lead the HS&E agenda in alignment with responsibilities defined in the GEHSMS framework.
Maintenance Program Management
- Oversee corrective, preventive, predictive, and improvement maintenance programs in line with company standards and annual objectives.
- Ensure adherence to the annual maintenance budget (AOP) and control related costs.
- Guarantee execution according to the defined maintenance plan and schedule.
- Ensure effective implementation of safety and risk prevention standards across maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement (PEMM)
- Drive PepsiCo’s PEMM continuous improvement program within the plant.
- Improve equipment reliability through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Identify maintenance and production line improvement opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Train and develop plant teams in maintenance, enhancing technical capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Monitor employee development and training progress.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team, optimizing resources and adapting to seasonal production needs.
- Supervise external contractors’ work within the plant.
- Provide support for PepsiCo initiatives and projects (Productivity, CTS, Lean).
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Industrial Engineering (or similar technical degree).
- Basic knowledge of management principles (budgeting, cost control, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (user level).
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Intermediate English level (B2).
- Strong experience in maintenance processes and management.
- Proven team management and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
