We are looking for a
Launch Supply Chain Analyst
who will be responsible for procurement activities for new launch models of Mercedes after sales. As a supply chain analyst, you will be a central point of contact for various supply chain activities. You will actively steer your responsible suppliers to ensure a constant availability of spare parts for the global Mercedes-Benz after-sales organization.Your main functions will be:
Manage all logistics operations, including all logistics assets, to ensure timely and cost-effective spare part availability for all new launches, considering a wide range of influences.Ensure correct master data parametrization for accurate forecasting and order placement.Act as the key account for your own portfolio of suppliers as well as for internal and external stakeholders, both direct and indirect.Manage critical parts and perform preventive risk management and steering.Initiate and perform cross-site demand and capacity management by participating in demand and capacity boards.Work closely with higher management and supplier managers during severe bottleneck situations, leading steering and moderation meetings with suppliers in escalation mode.Qualifications:
University degree in Logistics or Business AdministrationNegotiation skills, especially with suppliersAt least 2 years of experience in supply chain activitiesConflict resolution and analytical skillsResilience and flexibility outside standard processesConfidence in decision-makingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFluent business English skills, verbal and writtenProficiency in MS Office and IT systems like SAP;
