About This Role:
The Tour Delivery Manager plays a critical role in developing and managing regional tour manager teams to deliver an exceptional on-tour experience. This includes recruitment, training, development, and collaboration with the product team to ensure adherence to our brand standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Hiring and Recruitment: Develop an annual hiring strategy that sources top candidates to support business growth and excellence standards.
* Training and Team Development: Evolve our training approach to meet individual and team needs through various training models and on-the-road coaching and training. Provide tour prep and briefing for new and existing tour managers and assist with issue resolution when necessary.
* Performance Management: Manage team members to achieve established metrics tied to customer feedback through our quality management tool. Identify training opportunities and resources.
* Support Product Design and Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with the regional team to support tour enhancements and marketing content.
* This position requires some travel (approximately 4 tours per year).
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Improve operational processes and efficiencies to support tour managers, product enhancements, and emergency services protocols.
* Travel Requirements: Approximately 4 tours per year.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of industry experience or management experience required.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
* Ability to engage with and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
* Mandatory fluency in Portuguese or Spanish.
