As an
Account Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering close relations with customers by actively providing business suggestions and recommendations that help them make their business more profitable. Provide customers with information related to Desigual’s products, services, promotions, sales guides (VM, KPIs, Sell-outs tools), marketing actions, and any other information they need, enabling the effective selling of the Company's products through various sales channels to increase sales and profitability for both the client’s businesses and Desigual.Master data:
Ensure customer master data is accurate and properly maintained by setting up new accounts, updating commercial & financial information, and cancelling existing ones if needed.

process (introduce, modify, follow-up, and control) customer orders, changes, and returns of products/services according to Desigual's policies to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Review mismatched sales returns and approve discrepancies between approved and received units. Prepare, modify, send, and follow-up on invoices to customers.CollectionsEnsure invoices are paid on due dates and follow up accordingly. Handle overdue invoices or bounced checks/credit cards, claim overdue amounts per company policy, and keep bad debt ratios under control. Request refunds when applicable. Obtain guarantees or prepayments from customers before shipment as per the seasonal calendar.DeliveriesEnsure timely deliveries and full payment;
issue proformas and claim past dues.Promotions and MarketingCoordinate and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for key accounts, ensuring effective communication of Desigual's brand messaging.Inventory ManagementMonitor inventory levels and ensure products are well-stocked and available for partners. Collaborate with logistics and operations teams as needed.Data AnalysisMaintain accurate and updated customer account information. Properly match open line items (invoices, credit notes, payments) and send account statements for reconciliation.Problem SolvingIdentify, monitor, and resolve disputes arising from commercial, financial, or logistic collection processes, aiming to minimize default rates by collecting overdue funds, thus protecting sales.
