Job purpose :
As a Product Manager Checkout at Stayforlong, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our checkout experience, which sits at the core of our booking and payment flows. This includes leading the definition, evolution, and optimization of services such as booking, rebooking, payments, refunds, wallets, fraud detection, upselling, insurance, and partial payments. Your mission is to deliver a seamless, reliable, and revenue-optimized checkout process, balancing user experience, operational efficiency, and business goals.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Revenue, Engineering, UX / UI, and Data to ensure a high-quality product that drives customer satisfaction and maximizes conversion and monetization opportunities.

Main job responsibilities
* Build and execute the strategy of the Checkout product, assuming end-to-end ownership of the roadmap from discovery to delivery, ensuring alignment with Stayforlong’s business objectives and customer needs.
* Define, design, implement, and manage product development methodologies, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Revenue, UX, Engineering, and Operations to ensure delivery excellence and cross-team alignment.
* Lead the full product lifecycle from idea conceptualization to definition, execution, delivery, and follow-up, ensuring every initiative drives user and business value.
* Ensure effective prioritization of initiatives and continuous improvement of team throughput, without compromising quality or stability across the checkout experience.
* Know the ins and outs of your product KPIs, keeping metrics at your fingertips. Use data to proactively analyze performance, validate hypotheses, and make informed product decisions that drive measurable outcomes.
What you need to have
* 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with an international, well-known, fast-growing, successful software company, developing B2C products with high traffic.
* Ability to work with different stakeholders and prioritise according to the company’s objectives.
* Good understanding of usability principles and ability to understand product needs.
* Data-driven: experience analyzing data to answer questions and the ability to talk in numbers with strong knowledge of main KPIs of a B2C company, and outcome-driven.
* Excellent strategic thinking and prioritisation skills. Ability to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult trade-off decisions.
* You are good with processes and you know about Agile methodologies. An expert at using product development tools, managing KPIs and metrics. Ability to develop and cultivate a dynamic, progressive, and technologically advanced organisation. Previous OTA experience is valuable but not indispensable.
