WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
we are looking for a Product Manager with a pharmaceutical/medical device mindset to lead the strategic and innovative development of our Eye Health portfolio. This role acts as a bridge between Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and the Market, ensuring our products are not only compliant, but also differentiated, relevant, and competitive across all channels.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
* Lead the strategic planning and positioning of the Eye Health product range across optical, pharmacy, and online channels.
* Identify innovation opportunities based on market trends, competitor insights, and customer feedback.
* Manage the full product lifecycle: from ideation and launch to phase-out.
* Draft, review, and supervise IFUs (Instructions for Use) in collaboration with Regulatory and Medical Affairs.
* Own the validation of promotional and technical claims, ensuring scientific substantiation and MDR compliance.
* Ensure alignment of all communication materials with regulatory standards (MDR, ISO 13485, RD 1055/2022).
* Represent Avizor in key customer and distributor meetings, providing technical explanations and product training.
* Support the sales team with strategic tools, product positioning arguments, and evidence-based messaging.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Quality and Operations to ensure market-fit product development.
IDEAL PROFILE:
* Degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Optometry, or other Health Sciences.
* 3–5 years' experience in a Product Management role in pharma, OTC, or medical devices.
* Proven experience in product innovation, strategy development, and market-driven ideation.
* Familiarity with claim validation and EU regulatory frameworks (MDR highly preferred).
* Strong communication skills to engage both internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Fluent in English (C1 or higher); other languages are a plus.
* Analytical and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
