Job Title: Sales Specialist (Healthcare Informatics)
Job Description:
Responsible for identifying and creating growth in Healthcare Informatics (Enterprise Informatics) revenue and market share in Iberia, focusing on Spain. The role involves proactive engagement with sales activities targeting new and existing customers, along with developing, qualifying, and closing profitable Healthcare IT deals.
Your responsibilities include:
* Providing technical and clinical expertise through sales presentations and product/solutions demonstrations to customers.
* Identifying new deals well in advance within the assigned territory of Spain, building relationships with key customer personnel, and analyzing competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
* Maintaining relationships with current customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
* Formulating solutions for customers by combining knowledge of Philips solutions, hospital/clinic workflows, and customer needs to build compelling proposals. Informing and recommending technological innovations and upgrades, handling complaints, and inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.
* Gathering customer insights for new product introductions and providing market and competitive feedback.
* Participating in congresses, events, and team meetings within Spain and occasionally internationally.
* Managing sales funnel accurately and transparently using Philips systems.
* Providing forecasts and explanations as required.
* Supporting account managers by sharing product/solution knowledge, especially in enterprise informatics solutions, to drive business growth and support deals.
* Configuring solutions according to customer needs, adhering to business policies and pricing strategies.
* Monitoring industry competition and providing feedback and suggestions for product expansion.
* This role requires at least 50% travel across Spain.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Experience in healthcare IT sales or business development, especially in software and services or healthcare sectors.
* Experience in radiology workflows, cardiology, or hospital IT is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills across various organizational levels.
* Ability to build trust and strong relationships with customers as a healthcare IT consultant.
* University degree, preferably in engineering or IT.
* Desire to learn continuously and stay updated with industry developments.
* Strong business acumen and ability to understand market dynamics to advise customers effectively.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Team player capable of working in multicultural and international environments.
* Fluent in English and Spanish; CVs should be submitted in English.
