As Regulatory Affairs Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the geographical expansion of a dietary supplement ingredient business. Based in Barcelona, you’ll coordinate regulatory activities that ensure timely and compliant product registrations, authorizations, marketing & scientific communication across international markets, while providing expert guidance to cross-functional teams.
In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in R&D;, Product Management, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to bring innovative nutraceuticals & dietary supplement ingredients to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate regulatory submissions (new applications, variations, renewals) for dietary supplement ingredients across global markets (USA, EU, ANZ, Brazil, and others).
- Maintain and update regulatory documentation.
- Monitor and interpret evolving ingredient, nutraceutical and dietary supplement legislation, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Advise internal stakeholders on ingredient authorizations, nutrition & health claims, and composition.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business insights to support innovation.
- Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies.
About You
- Degree in Life Sciences as Biochemistry, Food & Nutrition, or Law, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in end to end regulatory affairs within the dietary supplement or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of EU and US legislation;
familiarity with Asian frameworks is a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver risk-based regulatory advice to commercial teams.
- Fluent in English;
Spanish is desirable given the role’s location.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Comfortable working in general teams and navigating a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
