To be successful in this role, you are an experienced finance consultant and like the international character of the job. Besides a healthy interest in finance, you have a keen interest in other competences within the SAP area like SAP HR, LSMW, analytics, Sales and Services. You’ll be working together with a team of finance professionals to align and implement SAP finance and controlling globally. Your daily to-do list will look a lot like this:
1. Gather business needs and requirements and translating these business requirements into functional design
2. Develop, test, document, deliver and optimize SAP applications
3. Demonstrate, provide training, and guide testing activities and transfer to community
4. In case of cross application processes, you’ll work together with other Application Specialists to find and create the best solutions
What you'll be doing
Marel is working hard to optimize its global corporate IT and IT processes. One of the largest projects we’re working on is the global roll out and implementation of SAP s/4 HANA. You’ll be working together with a team of finance professionals to align and implement SAP finance and controlling globally. Because of the international character of the role, it’ll be preferable that you have go-live experience as well as knowledge about tax rules and regulations. Experience with Vertex or Meridian is a big advantage.
You’re gathering financial business information and translate requirements/processes into IT Solutions, which will support and optimize the business in its daily operations. The business consultant is responsible for the functional design, implementation, maintain and optimizing the software. In addition, business consultants will participate in other projects and daily operations.

What kind of a person are you?
You’ve developed a keen interest and experience in financial processes and SAP development through business finance or accountancy. Also, you have a background in business controlling or accountancy and understand international tax laws and regulations. Furthermore, you’re;
19. Minimum a bachelor's degree in Business administration, computer science or equivalent
20. Understanding business processes and translation into IT architecture
21. Preferably, experienced inworking with related software solutions like Vertex or Meridian and Basware.
22. Someone with a solution and result driven mentality and ability, who’s getting excited working in a global environment with a local team.
23. You have experience in solving complex issues in the field of SAP FICO, preferably with SAP ECC
24. Experience with, or interest in S/4HANA is an advantage.
25. Experienced in working with SAFe and scrum.
26. Someone who’s analytical and structured.
27. Someone who has the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
28. Someone who’s a strong communicator with effective written and verbal skills
