About the Construction Estimator Role
We are seeking a Construction Estimator with strong experience in commercial construction to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing the full lifecycle of project proposals from site visits to final estimates.
Construction Estimator Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate client requests and develop detailed, accurate proposals.
* Perform construction bidding and cost estimating.
* Conduct pre-bid site visits and assessments.
* Review bid documents and manage the proposal process.
* Prepare conceptual scope of work drawings.
* Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
* Source new subcontractors and vendors.
* Maintain and update historical cost data and vendor lists.
Construction Estimator Qualifications:
* Strong background in commercial construction estimating 5 plus years.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
