AGILE DELIVERY CENTER SPAIN
The Agile Delivery Center Spain @ Capgemini is growing thanks to new international projects from our valued customers. We are based in Valencia and Murcia, working with large clients on innovative applications following a distributed agile model across Europe.
We are seeking Software Engineers with at least 3 years of experience in software development, fluent in French, passionate about technology, and eager to be part of a high-tech, multicultural, dynamic, and open-minded environment.
YOUR ROLE
As a Software Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions/applications, specializing in Java technologies. You will work in an international environment with cutting-edge technologies, contributing to continuous process improvements in Agile settings.
You will analyze and solve engineering problems, collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and develop your skills within our professional communities.
YOUR TASKS
* Develop and maintain software: Create high-quality applications using Java and related technologies, handling complex functionalities.
* Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
* Code reviews: Ensure quality, performance, and security through thorough reviews and dissemination of best practices.
* Continuous improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and propose enhancements.
* Technical leadership: Mentor junior developers and assist in project planning.
YOUR PROFILE
Minimum of two years relevant experience, solid understanding of programming, design, and development principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively.
* Proficiency in Java: Experience with Java 8-17 and Spring frameworks.
* Development lifecycle: Knowledge of Scrum and other methodologies.
* Database skills: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Testing and debugging: Skills in unit and integration testing with tools like JUnit and Mockito.
* Version control: Experience with Git, GitLab, GitHub.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in French for team and customer communication.
* Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills.
