Mission
The Short Term Planner Engineer is responsible for short‑term planning and aircraft routing, ensuring the effective execution of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a 24/7 operational environment. Based in the Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), the role ensures fleet availability and continuous airworthiness compliance, while optimizing resource allocation and coordinating closely with operations and maintenance providers.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Prepare work packages for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in AMOS.
- Ensure the Vueling fleet is airworthy without any expired tasks.
- Engineer A/C routing for maintenance across the network in coordination with OCC (Operations Control Center).
- Coordinate with the maintenance provider for work acceptance.
- Organize required special skills, facilities, and tooling.
- Handle task de‑assignment and re‑planning.
- Assist MOC and Fleet Support Engineers with necessary work packages for unscheduled events.
Academic Background
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician qualification, Aerospace Engineering degree, or EASA PART‑66 CAT‑B1 or CAT‑B2 license.
Experience
- Preferably 1 year in a similar role.
- No prior experience is required.
Skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent execution capacity.
- Highly motivated, self‑starter with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
Other Requirements
- Timetable flexibility and availability.
- Willingness to work on shifts.
- Advanced knowledge of Office.
- Knowledge of AMOS and AIMS desirable.
