About Fixe ClimbingFixe Climbing is a historic brand specialized in the design and manufacturing of climbing, outdoor, and industrial safety equipment, based in Sant Quirze de Besora, north of Barcelona, Spain. With a history dating back to 1983 and the integration of key brands such as Roca (ropes), Faders (carabiners), and Alien CCH (mechanical cams), we offer a comprehensive product range for vertical environments. Today, 70% of our catalog consists of products launched within the past 3 years, and we are in a strong phase of international growth and brand renewal.
Your MissionTo support our expansion, we are looking for an Area Manager to oversee the French market and five major distributor accounts in other international territories. You will play a key role in developing and executing our sales strategy, bringing our renewed product catalog to the market and opening new territories.
Key Responsibilities
Drive monthly sales targets and implement corrective actions with the Sales Director
Conduct in-person sales visits to clients
Open new accounts and markets
Ensure data integration with online clients
Monitor and optimize online product presence
Coordinate marketing campaigns with the internal marketing team
Report market trends and product feedback
Supervise order flow, planning, and delivery with support from back office
Must-haves
Passion for climbing
Minimum 6 years of sales experience in the outdoor/climbing sector in France
Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
Based in France
Key Skills
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Goal-oriented and self-driven
Proficiency with Excel and MS Office
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience working with large retailers and outdoor stores in France
Background in the industrial safety or rope access sectors
Fluent in Spanish or Catalan
Passion for outdoor sports
