Software Asset Manager
Objectives :
* Assumes responsibility and operation of the software asset management solution and maintains accurate records of asset acquisitions, transfers, maintenance and disposal.
Functions :
* Leading contract negotiations with software vendors
* Conducting market analyses to secure optimal purchasing conditions and identify potential savings
* Managing and maintaining purchased and registered software licenses, including ensuring license compliance
* Reviewing and validating commercial data to maintain an overview of costs and budgets
* Managing contracts, including monitoring contract durations and adapting them to current needs and requirements
* Applying IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies to manage and optimize IT resources, especially in procurement and license management
What are we looking for?
We seek professionals with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within a multinational company (food, energy, environment), with experience in Software Asset Management tools and software. Candidates should be quality and customer service oriented (methodical, detail-oriented with professional discretion), results-driven, proactive, and willing to travel.
Requirements :
* Engineering, Economics, or similar degree.
* Strong background in asset management or IT procurement.
* Deep understanding of IT asset management best practices and software licensing.
* Ideally, additional relevant qualifications such as negotiation training or procurement courses.
* Strong system and process understanding with practical experience with ERP and e-procurement systems.
* Extensive experience in IT asset management and basic data knowledge.

* Organisational skills, autonomy, versatility, proactivity.
* Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Advanced level of English (B2-C1), with communication in English.
