The Marketing Payments Manager is responsible for overseeing all payment-related processes within the marketing department. This role ensures timely and accurate payments to marketing vendors, agencies, and platforms, sets payment priorities in line with budgets, and serves as the primary point of contact for all marketing payment inquiries. The position works closely with Finance and Marketing to ensure smooth execution of marketing spend.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the end-to-end marketing payments process, from invoice review to payment confirmation;
Set and manage payment priorities based on campaign timelines, contractual obligations, and budget availability;
Act as the main point of contact for all marketing payment-related questions and issue resolution;
Review, validate, and approve marketing invoices for accuracy, compliance, and budget alignment;
Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely processing of payments;
Maintain accurate records of payments, invoices, and supporting documentation;
Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to marketing spend;
Identify process gaps and drive improvements in payment workflows and controls;
Assist marketing leadership with visibility into outstanding payments. xhfqzwm
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
3+ years of experience in marketing operations, finance operations, or payment management;
Strong understandingof marketing spend categories (media buying, agencies, SaaS tools, production, etc.);
Experience working with invoices, budgets, and payment workflows;
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working closely with Finance or AP teams;
Familiarity with marketing budgeting tools, ERPs, or payment systems;
Experience in a fast-growing or matrixed organization.
