You will act as a bridge between market needs, system applications and R&D, contributing directly to the definition and successful delivery of competitive power converter solutions.How You’ll Make an ImpactDrive Application‑Driven Product DevelopmentSupport the definition and evolution of power converter solutions for PV, battery energy storage and hybrid applicationsTranslate application‑level and customer needs into clear product requirements and preliminary technical specificationsContribute to product roadmaps by analyzing trends in power ratings, system architectures, performance, and cost driversCapture and Structure Market RequirementsCollect and structure market and customer requirements together with product managers, sales, and application engineeringSupport benchmarking of competitor solutions and emerging technologiesHelp assess gaps between current products and future application needsContribute to Product Specification & Design InputPrepare preliminary product specifications including key electrical parameters, control features, grid interaction capabilities and interfacesSupport R&D by clarifying use cases, operating envelopes, and application constraintsParticipate in technical design reviews as the application and product voiceSupport Validation and IndustrializationContribute to validation activities by reviewing test plans, performance data, and compliance against requirementsSupport the preparation of technical and marketing documentation, product descriptions, and internal guidelinesAssist in managing technical change requests and product improvements during development and lifecycle phasesCollaborate Across FunctionsWork closely with R&D, sales and tendering, quality, manufacturing and supply chainLearn from product managers and technical experts, building strong product and system know-howSupport internal trainings and knowledge sharing related to power converter applications.Your BackgroundBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus on Power Electronics or Power Systems2–5 years of experience in power electronics, converters, inverters or system engineering, ideally in renewable energy or BESSGood understanding of power converter topologies, control principles and system‑level interactionsFamiliarity with grid‑connected applications (PV, BESS, hybrid plants) is a strong advantageBasic experience with simulation tools (e.G. PSCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS) or test environments is a plusStructured mindset with the ability to turn technical information into clear requirementsStrong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in cross‑functional, international teamsFluent in Spanish and English;
