Job summary
We are seeking an In-Stock Controller to support operational excellence and continued growth at the Book Depository team. You will work with Commercial and Tech teams, providing data and operational support to ensure customer orders are processed correctly. You will also have the opportunity to participate in projects to drive improvements such as process automation and simplification.
Key job responsibilities
* Virtual stock management
* Manage the ordering processes both internally and externally
* Raise Purchasing Orders to our book providers across the globe
* Ensure our book selection list is up to date in our marketplace
* Liaise directly with vendors worldwide to improve service levels
* Take the lead and ownership of issue resolutions
* Collaborate with Tech teams across Amazon to optimize systems, such as forecast generation and order management, and to launch new features

* Fluent in a second language
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of staff and management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
