He/she will manage Hope for Haiti’s education programs, activities and steward the organization’s relationships with in-country partners, the MENFP, donors and other education stakeholders. This includes maintaining regular communication with partners, attending meetings at the MENFP and any education cluster meetings, conducting bi-annual site visits to partner sites, writing reports and collecting monitoring and evaluation from the partner sites. The Education Program Manager (EPM) will ensure that HFH is on the forefront of innovation in international educational development in both research and implementation. The EPM will manage a team focused on coordinating education activities including: financing programs (back-2-school, teacher salary subsidies, scholarships), professional development programs (teacher training, director training and meetings, parent workshop, etc.) and any other related activities. The EPM will also oversee the implementation of any agricultural-related projects that occur at our partner sites. This includes coordinating with and training local partners, procuring materials, organizing laborers and volunteers, establishing a reporting system and supervising progress and challenges. The Education Program Manager reports directly to the Chief Program Officer.**Major Responsibilities**:- Support technical design, oversight, and monitoring of activities for education (lead strategic planning activities, develop program SWOT, work collaboratively with the MEAL team to monitor key program indicators, etc.)- Manage Hope for Haiti’s Education Program, including finance programs such as Teacher Salary Subsidy, Back to School Fund and Scholarships, professional development programs, agriculture programs, school lunch programs, school infrastructure, computer labs and others as needed; - Jump into the international educational development field and stay ahead of new trends, theories and best practices in education globally and within Haiti; - Revise Hope for Haiti’s school partner guidelines, create strategic plans for all schools and develop exit plan for school partners that are being sustainable; - Partner with healthcare and economic development teams to improve the quality of life for students and their families at partner schools; - Develop school nutrition programs in coordination with the Community Health Program Manager and local farmers to create sustainable and nutritious feeding programs; - Contribute to the systematic assessment of the analysis of EDU sector problems in communities, local authorities and other stakeholders, and support the design of initiatives to systematically build capacities.**Other Important Tasks and Deliverables**:- Complete, in conjunction with the MEAL team, a minimum of two monitoring visit at each of the 24 partner schools per fiscal year to create and complete monitoring form, talk with beneficiaries, take photos, make recommendations and collect data; - Update school monitoring form annually and include school needs/priority list and estimated budget; - Maintain a database ofeducation stakeholders including teachers, parents, students and partners that can be used for strategic planning, storytelling and reporting; - Actively search for new education partnerships, including collaboration with MENFP; - Develop Education teamprofessional development plans aligned with program objectives; - Quarterly impact stories, testimonials and photos on Education Programs; - Grant reporting including data, stories, testimonials and photos for major Education Partners and/or donors; - Facilitate all Education related donor trips including creating itinerary, arranging field visits, providing translations English to Creole, Creole to English and facilitating trip logistics; - Other tasks as requested by the supervisor.**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**- 5-10 years work experience in education or in the international development services field. 5 years of management experience preferred; - Masters degree in Education, Teaching, International Development, Community Development, Social Studies or equivalent is required; - Good communicator withstrong organizational, time management and analytical skills; - Excellent inter
