Why we need this role
As an indirect procurement business partner, you will manage the company's supply portfolio, ensuring transparency of spending. You will oversee categories of spend according to business needs, develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies, analyze procurement costs, and suggest methods to reduce expenditure. Additionally, you will handle corporate sourcing operations and improve sourcing activities by analyzing company spending, partnerships, and exploring new opportunities.
What you will do
1. Lead the timely procurement of products and services across assigned categories.
2. Develop and implement category strategies to optimize costs, time, supplier capacity, and competitiveness aligning with group objectives.
3. Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
4. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align strategies, savings plans, budgets, and processes.
5. Engage with trustworthy, inclusive, and diverse suppliers.
6. Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and long-term value.
7. Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and scenario planning for data-driven decisions.
8. Monitor market trends to anticipate changes in supply dynamics.
9. Apply risk mitigation techniques and support sustainable procurement practices aligned with ISO20400.
10. Manage end-to-end tender processes, from specifications to contract award.
11. Ensure procurement documentation is complete and maintained in Ariba.
12. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve procurement and contractual issues.
13. Conduct supply risk assessments and incorporate findings into category plans.
14. Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement practices, tools, and compliance.
15. Support internal teams with procurement activities and process improvements.
