The Product Manager Pharma will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our Pharma and Health business, strengthen our core global operations, and participate in growth initiatives. A key aspect of the role is Portfolio Management to reinforce profitability across the product line.
This remote role can be based in Spain, Italy, Portugal, or other European countries where we have a site. Regular trips to European offices are expected.
Tasks and requirements :
* Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and operations to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
* Generate market insights through customer interactions and market research data analysis.
* Work with Business Development to drive product strategy, R&D, innovation, and positioning for new products.
* Set product development objectives based on Voice of Customer / Market insights.
* Manage the Stage Gate process during product development and develop commercialization strategies.
* Provide expertise on competitors’ products and market share, and produce competitive analysis reports.
* Coordinate with regulatory and other departments to understand upcoming changes and their implications.
* Oversee daily product management, balancing revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction.
* Develop product specifications in collaboration with Value Stream members to meet customer and operational needs.
* Coordinate promotional activities with Marketing and Communications, including trade shows and technical articles.
* Ensure availability of technical documentation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability information for commercial teams.
Who we are looking for :
A candidate with a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business, marketing, sciences, or engineering, with 2-3 years of relevant industry experience; an MBA is a plus. We value energetic, forward-thinking, and ethical individuals with a professional image committed to growth.
More Requirements :
* Experience in Portfolio Management, technical documentation, regulatory processes, and sustainability certifications in Pharma & Health.
* Experience managing technical or innovation projects in manufacturing.
* Proficiency in Excel, especially Pivot tables.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global cross-functional team.
* Effective response to inquiries or complaints.
* Fluent in English; German reading skills are helpful but not required.
