JOB SUMMARY
The Commercial & Development Director of COPERAMA HOLDING will direct and manage the implementation of COPERAMA’s sales strategy to ensure that:
1. number of third-party associates grow according to the defined 5 year plan;
2. compliance of associates (revenue per hotel) increases.
He or she will also be responsible for defining the correct marketing strategy and tools that would support the aforementioned strategy.
The Commercial & Development Director works closely with the Managing Directors of every Business Unit (Spain, Italy, Benelux, Germany, France, Portugal, Colombia, México and Argentina) while continuously monitoring competitive activity.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Procurement and CEO of Coperama, you will be responsible for leading the global Commercial and Development Strategy and its execution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Develop and implement a sales & expansion strategy and goals for Coperama.
* Collaborate and ensure, together with the Managing Directors across all Business Units (countries), to deploy a global sales and marketing strategy with local focus.
* Manage and coordinate together with the Managing Directors, Coperama’s sales teams to maximize third-party sales revenues.
* Act as a functional leader with Coperama’s sales teams to maximize, together with the MD’s, the third-party sales revenues.
* Monitor monthly results and implement timely adjustments (together with the MD’s in the BU’s).
* Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility.
* Analyze regional market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
* Identify key internal and external market trends.
* Update commercial CRM with planned and executed activities.
* Define marketing materials and coordinate its usage throughout different BUs.
* Develop content and campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other key platforms.
* Provide creative leadership in social media strategies to maximize impact.
* Plan and execute advertising campaigns within budget and timelines.
EXPERIENCE
* 5-10 years of professional experience in a managerial role in the hotel and/or catering industry with a strong industry network.
* Strong background in sales and/or managing sales teams.
* Experience working with international teams.
* Ideally, procurement experience.
* Experience in strategic media planning, buying, and implementation.
* Experience with Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads, and social listening tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
Successfully completed a university degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Tourism Management, or a related field.
REQUIREMENTS
* Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
* Solid market knowledge.
* Proficiency in reporting and analysis.
* Organized, proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
