The BSC communication team’s mission is to publicize the BSC and its activity through the center's own channels (web, social networks, corporate communication materials, visits to MareNostrum supercomputer etc), the media and the organization and participation in activities and events to strengthen the public awareness and understanding of science and technology. It also manages the internal communication of the center.

Within this context, we are seeking a Strategic communication initiatives & corporate brand manager to strategically create, implement, and oversee communications activities that effectively promote the mission, vision, values, and work of the organisation. The selected candidate will coordinate a team of approximately 8 professionals working on digital content and social media, scientific communication materials and storytelling, web and graphic design and audiovisual and multimedia content.
The role requires a strong balance of communication and team leadership, strategic planning and collaboration skills.

Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience: Five years+ of experience in corporate communications, brand management, or strategic communications roles. Experience in science and technology communication will be a plus.
Proven experience leading complex, high-visibility communications initiatives.
Proven experience in team management.
Deep understanding of corporate & stakeholder communications and reputation management.
Strategic thinking and execution.
Corporate communication and brand leadership expertise.
Strong project management and prioritization abilities.
Proactively contributing creative ideas to bring research and institutional content to the target audience.
Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Excellent in spoken and written English, Spanish and Catalan.
A problem-solver who takes the initiative in finding solutions.
Conditions
The position will be located at BSC within the Management Department.
We offer a full-time contract (35h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures.
Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration.
Holidays: 22 days of holidays + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement. xhfqzwm
