By combining capital, carbon certification, and agronomic expertise, InSoil benables investors and farmers to drive meaningful climate impact and financial returns /b. /ppbr/ppbJob Summary /b /ppThe bProject Development Manager /bwill support the full lifecycle development of bImproved Agricultural Land Management /b (IALM) projects under the bVerified Carbon Standard (VCS), /band other standards, within the bVoluntary Carbon Market (VCM). /b This role drives projects from bearly-stage feasibility /b through to benvironmental attributes issuance /b and post-issuance bmonitoring periods /b. Responsibilities include managing all phases of project development: scoping, feasibility, documentation (Project Descriptions, Monitoring Reports), validation, verification, and compliance with evolving methodologies. /ppThe Manager will work coordinating across bdata science, agronomy, MMRV, farmer engagement, business development, /b bscope 3 GHG accounting reporting, /b and bmarketing /b teams, while supporting the engagement with external entities like validation/verification bodies and consultants. Success in this role requires strategic foresight, process leadership, and up-to-date knowledge of carbon market regulations and methodologies. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/ppbProject Coordination Management /b /pulliSupport the day-to-day development of IALM carbon projects to ensure compliance with bVCS, /band other standards. /liliTrack progress against timelines, milestones, and KPIs; proactively adapt roadmaps where necessary. /liliManage and align cross-functional collaboration (data science, agronomy, farmer engagement, MMRV, business development). /liliFacilitate recurring internal check-ins (daily/weekly) and milestone meetings with stakeholders. /li /ulpbr/ppbDocumentation Compliance /b /pulliConduct the preparation and construction of carbon project documentation: bProject Descriptions (PDs) /b, bMonitoring Reports (MRs) /b, and all supporting materials. /liliEnsure full adherence to bVCS methodologies /b, and other applicable standards. /liliAddress all bfindings /bfrom Validation and Verification Bodies, carbon standards, and other relevant entities promptly and satisfactorily. /liliMaintain comprehensive, audit-ready documentation and project records. /li /ulpbr/ppbStakeholder Engagement /b /pulliProvide clear, timely responses to inquiries regarding project compliance, risks, and milestones. /li /ulpbr/ppbMonitoring Data Management /b /pulliCollaborate with data and agronomy teams to review field data, modeling outputs, and remote sensing insights. /liliEnsure data quality and consistency for bMonitoring Reports /b and baseline assessments. /liliTrack actual vs. forecasted carbon outcomes and flag anomalies early in the process. /li /ulpbStrategic Insight Market Intelligence /b /ppbr/pulliContinuously monitor changes in bVCS/other methodologies /b, bvoluntary carbon market trends /b, bagricultural decarbonization initiatives /b, and other emerging standards (e.g., CRCF). /liliShare regulatory or strategic updates with internal teams for proactive alignment. /liliIdentify opportunities to optimize project design, scale, or impact based on new methodologies or innovations. /li /ulpbr/ppbCandidate Profile /b /ppbr/ppbExperience Background /b /pulliAt least 4 years of experience managing bland-based carbon projects /b under bVerra, Gold Standard, Isometric, CCP and/or other global standards, /b from project documentation preparation and registration to issuance. /liliHands-on expertise in bAFOLU project development. /bExperience in regenerative agriculture and soil carbon is considered a strong asset. /liliFamiliarity with bGHG /b accounting and reporting, including bremovals /b and bavoided emission /bs within a GHG inventory context would be a strong plus. /li /ulpbr/ppbEducation /b /pulliBachelor's or Master’s degree in bEnvironmental Science /b, bAgronomy /b, bSustainability, Climate Change, Engineering, Business, /b or a related field. /liliQuantitative or technical training is a strong plus. /li /ulpbr/ppbTechnical Skills /b /pulliIn-depth understanding of bAFOLU methodologies /b, bcarbon MMRV systems /b. /liliStrong documentation and reporting abilities, especially under Verra. /liliFamiliarity with digital monitoring technologies (i.e. digital soil mapping) and remote sensing, considered a strong plus. /liliExperience in excel-based project modelling and tracking, as well as in AI-driven tools considered a plus. /li /ulpbr/ppbProject Leadership /b /pulliDemonstrated ability to plan, manage, and deliver bmulti-stakeholder /b projects under defined timelines. /liliSkilled at facilitating coordination across cross-functional teams and external validation partners. /liliCapable of translating technical complexity into actionable workflows. /li /ulpbr/ppbSoft Skills /b /pullibProactive /b, bsolutions-oriented /b, and capable of navigating ambiguity. /liliStrong bleadership /b and bcommunication /b abilities to align diverse stakeholders. /liliComfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhy Join Us? /b /ppbr/ppBe part of a purpose-driven, high-impact team scaling agricultural climate solutions across global landscapes.
