This role bridges the gap between high-level AI strategy, technical architecture, and industrial-grade MLOps.Technical Requirements & Expertise:10+ Years Enterprise Engineering: Proven track record in complex environments, specifically delivering scalable AI tools and capabilities.AI/ML Product Architecture: Experience building reusable AI products that function across multiple operating companies (multi-tenancy) while minimizing "product premium" costs.MLOps & Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of contemporary ML engineering, including 3rd party AI platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and routes-to-live for GenAI and traditional ML.Generative AI Strategy: Ability to model the costs/benefits of various generative models and implementation approaches (e.g., lightweight abstraction layers).Left-Shift Discovery: Expertise in developing technical blueprints that support early value release and rapid prototyping before full industrialization.Leadership & Governance:Architectural Governance: Accountability for the Key Design Decision (KDD) process, ensuring all products align with Group standards for security, risk, and reusability.Executive Communication: Ability to "frame" complex AI technicalities for time-poor C-suite executives to drive rapid, auditable decision-making.Technical Risk Management: A disciplined, data-driven approach to identifying and "burning down" technical debt and risks.Community Building: Experience fostering an "AI Academy" culture, mentoring squad leads, and building an aligned community of pragmatic AI practitioners.Strategic & Business MindsetEBIT Focus: Ability to translate abstract business problems into AI solutions that drive measurable ROI and operational efficiency.Cost Management: Continuous assessment of the external AI landscape to identify the most cost-effective 3rd party capabilities and open-source alternatives.IMS/Aviation Domain: (Preferred) Experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) or the broader Airline industry.Logistics & Soft SkillsTravel: Mandatory weekly travel to office - in Viladecans 2 times A week.Mindset: A "forward-looking pragmatist" who balances innovative AI exploration with the realities of enterprise-grade reliability.
