We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist with fintech experience for a startup company specializing in the development of software solutions for banks and neo-banking institutions within the digital financial services sector.
This person will be responsible for delivering a smooth client activation experience, supporting new customers from the moment they join until their account is fully operational. You will work closely with different internal teams to make sure all compliance requirements are completed and clients feel confident using the platform.
Main Responsibilities
• Coordinate the onboarding journey end-to-end, from first contact to successful activation
• Understand each client’s operational needs and show how the platform meets their requirements
• Assist customers with KYC/AML documentation, access setup and product introduction
• Collaborate with Compliance and other internal teams to ensure regulatory approval
• Keep CRM and onboarding records accurate, tracking timelines and progress
• Identify areas for process improvement based on client feedback and onboarding data
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in onboarding, account management or customer success in fintech, payments or regulated financial services
• Knowledge of regulated onboarding, documentation checks and KYC/AML processes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify technical or compliance topics
• Highly organized, proactive and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in English (Russian is a strong plus)
• Experience with CRM or onboarding tools is valued
