The focus of this role is driving the delivery, evolution, and adoption of reusable data products that can be leveraged across multiple business units.

The Role
You will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of several existing operational data products, while also scoping and leading new data product initiatives.
The position requires close collaboration with data engineers, engineering leadership, and senior stakeholders across Product, Commercial, and Technology functions. You will translate business needs into clear, actionable data requirements and ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the delivery and ongoing management of multiple data products across different domains
* Scope new data product initiatives, refine ambiguous requirements, and define structured delivery plans
* Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams
* Prioritise requirements and manage roadmaps based on business impact and technical feasibility
* Proactively identify and resolve blockers while managing stakeholder expectations
* Ensure clear, structured communication and timely delivery against agreed milestones
* Drive continuous improvement and future iterations of existing data products
* Promote data product best practices and reusable asset thinking across the organisation
Ideal Profile
* Experience as a Data Product Manager or Data Project Manager within a product-led or data-driven environment
* Strong understanding of data products as reusable, scalable assets
* Technical foundation sufficient to engage effectively with data engineers and understand data models
* Familiarity with modern data architectures (e.g. lakehouse concepts, layered data models, decentralised data ownership principles)
* Solid SQL knowledge and understanding of data modelling concepts
* Confident managing senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisational environments
* Structured, clear communicator who can manage competing priorities calmly
* Experience facilitating workshops, onboarding sessions, or enablement initiatives is advantageous
* Exposure to data quality, monitoring, orchestration tools, or transformation frameworks is beneficial but not essential
