Intress is seeking social sector personnel to populate our BORSA DE SUPLÈNCIES, which includes regular substitutes and the possibility of applying for permanent vacancies. The role involves managing our Hospital Companion services across Catalonia, in any hospital where the service is needed.
This opportunity is targeted at hospitals in the Terres de l'Ebre area (Tortosa, Amposta, Mora de l'Ebre).
This resource provides hospital companionship services for minors in centers managed by the Directorate General for Childhood and Adolescence.
Responsibilities
* Engage in leisure activities with children/adolescents to make their hospital stay more enjoyable, such as games, reading, etc.
* Assist children with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, diaper changing, etc.)
* Support during meals, especially for infants or individuals with special needs
* Provide support with daily tasks or schoolwork for children with reduced mobility
* Ensure the child's stay in hospital is pleasant and comfortable
* Maintain clear communication with healthcare staff and report any concerns regarding the child's physical or psychosocial health
What we offer
* Start date: as needed, possibly immediate
* End date: according to the substitution period
* Contract type: temporary (interinatge)
* Salary: €12.13 gross/hour
* Schedule: shifts from Monday to Sunday, 24h coverage, with 7h morning or afternoon shifts, or 10h night shifts

RequirementsEducational background
* University degree in Social Education or Social Work
* Related vocational training (CFGS) in social or educational fields
Professional experience
* Minimum 6 months experience in intervention tasks within similar services or child-related fields
Necessary knowledge
* Person-centered care model and community approach
* Relational systemic model (ecological)
* Resilience, attachment theories
* Trauma and mentalization theories
* Networking methodology
* Office software and Microsoft 365
* Basic health knowledge
Other valued qualities
* Training in disabilities (ASD, mental health, intellectual disabilities)
* Experience working with families
* Group dynamics and conflict management
* Community intervention skills
* Socio-educational and psychosocial intervention methodologies
* Digital literacy (internet, social media, audiovisual media)
Must have a clean criminal record certificate for sexual offenses.
