Flowserve is offering a variety of intern roles to support our plant in Pozuelo in one of the teams below. These internships are offered on a rotational basis, with 2–3 openings each year.
Opportunities at Pozuelo
- Production – The Production department focuses on supporting daily manufacturing activities to ensure smooth operations and consistent output. Interns contribute directly to building high‑quality products that meet customer expectations and uphold the company’s performance standards.
- Commercial Operations – Commercial Operations interns assist the sales and commercial teams with essential daily tasks such as preparing quotations, coordinating customer communication, and supporting basic market or product activities. This role helps develop core commercial skills while ensuring efficient internal workflows.
- Project Management – The Project Management team oversees the coordination and delivery of technical documentation for hydraulic pump manufacturing projects. Interns manage document flow between internal teams, clients, and suppliers, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and timely reporting throughout all project phases.
- Engineering – The Engineering department applies mechanical design, manufacturing principles, and hydraulic design expertise to develop innovative solutions. Interns may support the creation of procedures, technical documentation, and computer‑based tools that enhance engineering efficiency and product performance.
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) – The HSE department focuses on promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. HSE interns support safety initiatives, incident investigations, employee training, and new‑hire safety orientation while helping maintain accurate records and safety metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Final year students in mechanical, electrical, chemical or industrial engineering
- User knowledge with Microsoft Office
- Analytical and problem‑solving skillsPlanning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
- Self‑motivated and an effective collaborator
- Knowledge of SAP, VBA, AutoCAD, Windchill will be a plus.
