Responsibilities :
* Manage the (outsourced) payroll process for Spain & Portugal covering multiple legal entities.
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and maintain proper payroll records.
* Keep GEAs global and local policies up to date and integrated into the payroll process.
* Work closely with local HRBPs and our central HR resource center in Berlin on daily tasks and support for projects.
* Ensure timely payment of salaries, taxes, and social security contributions.
* Respond to employee inquiries and escalate questions and concerns when necessary.
* Serve as a responsible backup in case of absences.
Your Profile / Qualifications :
* University degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing within a multinational environment.
* Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
* Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Office, Workday, and various HR systems.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
