TracknTake is a dynamic e-commerce platform that aggregates and manages over 200,000 products from hundreds of partner stores. Our robust backend handles real-time inventory synchronization, intelligent product categorization, and lightning-fast search capabilities across multiple interfaces.
The Role
We're seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our backend team and help scale our Laravel-based platform. You'll work on challenging technical problems including large-scale data processing, advanced search optimization, and real-time synchronization systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain our Laravel-based REST API serving mobile apps and web interfaces
* Optimize hybrid search architecture combining MySQL and Algolia for sub-second performance
* Build and enhance queue-based systems for processing 200,000+ daily product updates
* Implement and maintain Shopify integrations for partner stores
* Design scalable database solutions handling high-volume transactional data
* Collaborate on AI-powered product categorization features
* Develop push notification systems for mobile applications
* Support multi-language platform functionality (English/Spanish)
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
* Strong Laravel framework expertise
* Proven experience with Algolia or similar search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr)
* Solid MySQL database design and optimization skills
* Experience with queue systems (Redis, Laravel Queues, RabbitMQ)
* Proficiency in REST API development and optimization
* Experience with large-scale data processing and synchronization
* Understanding of caching strategies and performance optimization
* Git version control and collaborative development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
* Push notification implementation (Firebase, APNs)
* Experience with AI/ML integration for data categorization
* Multi-tenant application architecture
* E-commerce platform development
* Real-time inventory management systems
* Database indexing and query optimization for large datasets
* Experience with role-based CMS development
