About the role
We seek a Legal Business Partner with deep expertise in contract law, pharma/biotech business models, intellectual property (IP), and regulatory compliance. You’ll be critical in establishing startup legal frameworks and handling all contract negotiations, supporting our innovative products and client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on business-critical legal and compliance matters, with special emphasis on pharma, biotech, and AI technology sectors
Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of MSAs, Work Orders, Amendments, and related agreements with clients and partners
Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate client-centric contract solutions and risk management
Foster legal best practices and policies tailored to Biorce’s evolving needs
Communicate proactively with internal teams and external counterparties, educating business units on legal risk mitigation
Required Qualifications:
Law degree or equivalent with legal experience in the required field
5+ years of legal experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related technology sectors
Strong background in contract law and negotiation, including setting up MSAs, Work Orders, Amendments, etc.
Demonstrated experience with intellectual property
Exceptional communication skills and business acumen
Hands‑on, solution-oriented approach compatible with startup speed and complexity
Proficiency in English is essential. High level of Spanish is highly valued.
Preferred Experience:
Legal experience in high-growth, startup or scale-up environments
Familiarity with European and international clinical research/compliance regulations
Experience in managing and negotiating contracts for SaaS
