**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for an university graduate in Civil Engineering at IDOM's** Madrid offices** to develop civil projects in the **water**sector, with a primary focus on **dams**and **river** engineering.
Main functions:
- Basic and detailed engineering as a leader of the Water Technologies discipline in projects and studies for dams and large hydraulic infrastructures (river defences, hydroelectric power stations, canals, etc.).
- Preparation of documentation relating to dam operation and safety, emergency plans, operating standards, safety reviews, classification proposals.
Hydrological and flood studies.
- Free surface hydraulic modelling with HEC-RAS 1D-2D, IBER or similar.
- Drafting of design criteria, purchase specifications, requests for bids, comparisons, reports, appendices and budgets related to the design of hydraulic works and associated equipment.
- Ability to coordinate and review the work carried out by professionals assigned to projects.
- Liaising with other disciplines involved in the project: processes, structures, geotechnics, mechanics, electrical, etc.
- Leading the review of designs subcontracted to third parties, liaising with subcontractors, field visits, meetings, etc.
- Coordination of engineering and drafting teams.

**ABOUT YOU / SOBRE TÍ**
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- You have at least 8-10 years of experience in the development of hydraulic engineering projects.
- Knowledge of construction and construction processes Technical and Drawing/Representation Software (GIS, CAD, BIM) would be a plus.
- High level of English (C1 or similar). Second language (French or German) could be a plus.
- Autonomy and innovative mindset.
