The role will ensure consistent growth in sales by identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies and action plans. /p p Responsibilities Key Tasks: /p ulli Proactively develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive revenue growth /lili Identify and secure new business opportunities through structured planning, outreach, and pipeline management /lili Engage potential customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to understand needs and present tailored solutions /lili Conduct customer visits to assess requirements, promote products/services, and strengthen long-term partnerships /lili Perform cost–benefit and commercial viability analyses for both existing and prospective accounts /lili Resolve customer issues effectively by identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and providing feedback to management /lili Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets within defined timelines /lili Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure aligned and effective sales delivery /lili Provide regular market and customer insights, including needs, trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities /lili Recommend improvements to products, services, and commercial strategies based on performance analysis and market feedback /lili Monitor competitor activity, including pricing, product developments, and go-to-market strategies /lili Support pricing strategy, quotations, promotions, and commercial negotiations /lili Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective and existing clients /lili Manage the full sales cycle, including order processing, contract preparation, and payment follow-up /lili Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and credit terms /lili Maintain accurate reporting, including sales activity, pipeline updates, and market analysis /lili Ensure full compliance with company policies and relevant quality, environmental, and safety standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IFS) /li /ul p Key skills: /p ulli The ideal candidate will need to have experience in either PET Packaging (Bottles, Containers, Jars and Caps) or Plastic Packaging /lili Flexible and collaborative /lili A hunter personality, independent and highly motivated /lili Good communication skills both written and orally /lili Excellent at prospecting (cold calling and e-mailing) /lili Computer literate, with knowledge of current operating systems and software /li /ul
