The Financial Manager supervises, controls and effectively communicates the fiscal operations to provide information and guidance to the Directors or Managers of each department (Staff). This position is a key member of the Management Team.
**FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION**:
Under the guidance of CAF-SA, evaluate, develop and recommend, SUPPORTED BY THE International Tax Group Department, fiscal policies that will result in sound fiscal management
Analyze, interpret and communicate, with the support and supervision of the Financial Group Department, financial operating results to provide information and guidance to department managers
Maintain all official accounting records in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles
Oversee the operation of the department finance data processing system
Coordinate and oversee the preparation of the annual budget with the support and supervision of subsidiary Department at Parent
Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
Maintain the financial health of the organization
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's vigente performance compared to the business plans (budgets and forecasts)
Develop trends and projections.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
Liaison with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
**TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED**:
BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited university
ERP training
5 years of experience in Audit firms. Prior experience in the position will be a plus
Availability to stablish residence abroad.
