The Financial Manager supervises, controls and effectively communicates the fiscal operations to provide information and guidance to the Directors or Managers of each department (Staff). This position is a key member of the Management Team.
**FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION**:
- Under the guidance of CAF-SA, evaluate, develop and recommend, SUPPORTED BY THE International Tax Group Department, fiscal policies that will result in sound fiscal management
- Analyze, interpret and communicate, with the support and supervision of the Financial Group Department, financial operating results to provide information and guidance to department managers
- Maintain all official accounting records in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Oversee the operation of the department finance data processing system
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of the annual budget with the support and supervision of subsidiary Department at Parent
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Maintain the financial health of the organization
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's presente performance compared to the business plans (budgets and forecasts)
- Develop trends and projections.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
- Liaison with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
**TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED**:
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited university
- ERP training
- 5 years of experience in Audit firms. Prior experience in the position will be a plus
- Availability to stablish residence abroad.
