We are looking for a Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team for a major client in the industrial sector, based in Azuqueca de Henares.
Requirements:
* Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role or functions.
* Languages: English level B2-C1.
* Availability: Immediate start.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP) and advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel and Access).
* Soft Skills: Flexibility, proactivity, analytical and problem-solving skills, customer orientation, goal-driven, respect, trust, teamwork, and planning abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* Develop production plans based on forecasts to anticipate resource needs and ensure fulfillment for the end customer.
* Optimize stock levels according to demand fluctuations.
* Manage production resource priorities by balancing stakeholder interests to maximize service levels.
Operational Execution:
* Create and communicate optimal production sequences (daily/weekly), releasing manufacturing orders and verifying material availability.
* Monitor execution to correct deviations and propose alternatives to avoid service impacts.
* Ensure all sequenced manufacturing orders have the necessary materials before starting.
* Daily MRP control for all products within the customer order pool.
* Create, maintain, and control Master Data, Bill of Materials (BOM), and routings in SAP, ensuring the integrity of manufacturing orders.
Control and Analysis:
* Measure, monitor, and analyze load/capacity balance in the short, medium, and long term.
* Estimate and periodically review production resources, especially direct labor needs, based on planned activity levels.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and production efficiency to maximize time and cost potential.
* Analyze deviations and manage capacity conflicts or bottlenecks against demand within the analyzed timeframes.
* Develop, monitor, and analyze KPIs.
Supply Chain:
* Participate in defining new procedures and take an active role in Supply Chain projects.
* Provide support to the Supply Chain team and assist in incident resolution.
