Your role
As a Category Specialist, you will contribute to driving category performance, optimizing assortment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across different functions.
What will be your responsibilities?
* Develop and implement the product assortment strategy, adapting it to market demands and customer expectations.
* Continuously review and optimize the assortment to ensure it remains competitive, up to date, and focused on high-rotation key products.
* Define and manage the product portfolio in line with consumer trends and company strategy.
* Analyze competitors' assortments and consumer behavior to adjust the product mix and maintain an attractive, competitive offer.
* Design and coordinate promotions and special offers to drive sales and stock rotation.
* Ensure category profitability through constant analysis of margins, costs, and pricing.
* Build and monitor the category strategy and brand-level building blocks to achieve budget targets.
* Manage supplier relationships, monitor service levels, and act as the main point of contact for issue resolution.
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to co-create category marketing plans.
What we're looking for
* Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in category management, merchandising, buying, or similar roles.
* Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of Excel; Power BI is a plus.
* Fluency in Spanish and English.
* Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindset.
