THE ROLE
The Maintenance Engineer will be supporting maintenance coordinators and the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the effective execution, optimization, and reporting of maintenance activities. The role focuses on driving maintenance performance, reliability improvements, system implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and external partners. The Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead maintenance improvement initiatives, including failure analysis and root cause analysis.
* Support maintenance coordinators and the Maintenance Manager in daily maintenance operations and follow-up.
* Ensure achievement of maintenance KPIs and preventive maintenance execution, including preparation and analysis of reports.
* Develop, implement, and monitor the predictive maintenance plan.
* Provide technical diagnosis and support for equipment breakdowns and failures.
* Act as the main contact with external international suppliers for remote technical support and diagnostics.
* Supervise, update, and report SAP PM maintenance plans.
* Create, manage, and follow up on maintenance purchase orders via Ariba.
* Monitor and report scheduled maintenance activities performed by external contractors and subcontractors.
* Helping to manage spare parts inventory, warehousing, and replacement policies.
* Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with Operations, ensuring advanced communication and spare parts availability.
* Collaborate with the Iberia Engineering team on investment projects, CARs, and MOCs, ensuring deployment of investments and proper administrative follow-up and closure.
YOUR PROFILE
* More than 5 years of experience in a similar role and responsibilities
* Previous experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or process industries.
* Knowledge of SAP PM Advanced User. GMAO (Maximo, Prisma…)
* Fluent level of English Advanced.
