About The Role
As a Business Development Representative at Mitiga, you will work closely with our marketing and sales team to support the growth of our business and help drive our outbound lead generation efforts. You will generate and qualify your own set of leads, based on our commercial strategy and current go-to-market and will be measured on pipeline health and contribution to revenue.
Requirements
* Research companies and identify key players in strategically selected industries and verticals
* Work alongside marketing and sales to source and engage with high potential prospects and companies
* Contact potential customers via cold LinkedIn messaging and emails leading our outbound sales effort
* Conduct lead qualification calls with prospects and work closely with team members to scale revenue generation
* Document your progress and manage the pipeline to ensure complete visibility across the teams using our CRM
* Create customised insights-based-marketing materials
* Ensure the smooth transition of a lead to our Account Executives
* Fluent or professional working ability in French, Spanish or Portuguese

Additional Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience working within at least one targeted industry such as: Real Estate, Infrastructure or Renewable Energies
* 3+ years of experience working within SDR / BDR
* Fluent or professional working ability in English (essential) plus an additional language (French, Spanish or Portuguese preferred)
* Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (LinkedIn, email campaigns, etc.)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proven track record of consistently meeting sales quotas
* Experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferable)
* Self-motivated, great teammate, accountable and passionate about our product
* Some prior understanding of climate risk or sustainability. Exceptional candidates who can demonstrate an ability to learn climate extremely fast will also be considered
