Getnet Payments (Global team) is looking for a Payment Partnerships Manager, within the Global Getnet Consulting Services team, based in Boadilla del Monte. Reporting to the Payment Partnership Director.Getnet has the aim to consolidate payment businesses around the world through a differential value proposal in a business with great potential, creating the conditions and synergies to compete globally with the major international players in the sector.Based on the unique value proposition and brand value of Getnet in LatAm and Europe, Getnet will be expanding the acquiring franchise to additional markets. Nowadays, Getnet is the largest acquirer in Latam (Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay) and we already operate in Europe.To achieve this goal, we are building a cloud based acquiring architecture in which products are built based on microservices and deployed at all markets simultaneously, shortening time to market and improving value for customers. Our mission is to contribute to help more people and business prosper.Responsibilities- Leading and managing consulting-driven engagements, owning the end-to-end consulting lifecycle and acting as a strategic advisor to partners and clients, ensuring high-value advisory delivery aligned with business and client needs.- Ongoing partner management at a senior level, owning the customer experience;
articulating the value proposition;
demonstrating strong industry expertise and driving the creation of high-impact value propositions based on SW tools, product catalogue, ad-hoc consultancy and cross coordination with Getnet’s business areas (Marketing, Sales, Product, Professional Services, etc.).- Acting as the main relationship manager, ensuring global coordination across all countries and becoming the key reference for schemes, processors and APMs globally.- Collaborating with key business partners and subject matter experts within Schemes, Payment Companies, APMs and clients to translate business opportunities into strategic propositions and executable consulting plans.- Staying up to date with schemes mandates to proactively mitigate any business impact.- Developing a deep understanding of customer needs at a multidisciplinary product-and-solution level to support Sales and Professional Services teams at local and global level.- Collaborating on defining the minimum viable proposition and prioritizing requirements, balancing trade-offs between time, effort, investment and value.- Supporting cross-functional teams to ensure execution against the agreed roadmap in an agile environment.- Negotiating global business deals, driving cost optimization initiatives, supporting regulatory adaptation and contributing to Go-To-Market and marketing plans.- Participating in and co‑leading expansion strategies into new markets (new acquiring licenses, sponsorship programs, new payment flows definition, etc.).- Managing third‑party solutions and partners to ensure performance, quality and delivery expectations are met.- Defining, monitoring and analyzing KPIs and success metrics to assess client performance improvements, value proposition impact and contribution to P&L.- Using performance insights to identify opportunities for consulting‑led optimizations, product enhancements and continuous improvement.- Exploring innovation opportunities in collaboration with schemes, payment providers and consultancy firms to develop efficient and scalable solutions.RequirementsExperience- +7 years of experience in roles combining consulting, partnerships and payments.- Experience working with Schemes, APMs and third‑party payment and consultancy companies.- Strong experience in business deal negotiation, budget control and acquiring/issuing fee allocation models.- Experience managing schemes mandates, waiver requests and building strategic plans based on market insights.- Experience leading expansion programs and new market launches, including license or sponsorship models.- Payments or Consulting Manager with direct partnership ownership in an agile environment.- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously, delivering high‑quality results on time and within budget.- Experience working closely with internal and external Product and Engineering teams, with strong analytical and influencing skills.- Experience managing third‑party solutions and external vendors.Skills & Knowledge- Experience in partnership management in the global payments industry.- Payment gateways, transaction flows, schemes fees, acquirer set‑ups and mandates, consultancy projects, from the business and technical sides.- Superior organizational skills balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests.- Customer focused & business oriented.- Processes and business flows.- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive product decisions.- Language skills – High level of English and Spanish.Other Information- Availability to travel.- Willing to join a team in continuous challenge, with large and easy goals, under a great pressure and altogether under an excellent working environment and within an amazing team.What we offer📚 Access to self-development programmes🏢 Hybrid Collaborative environment: Successful candidate must be prepared to work 60% on siteApply and if you know someone who might be looking for this opportunity, share it.The PagoNxt entity advertising the job to which you are applying will process your personal information as data controller to assess your suitability for the position and manage the recruitment process.If you are applying for a job in the EU, the lawful basis to process your data is the necessity to take steps to assess your suitability for the offered position (art. 6.1b GDPR).
