Position : Software Developer - Java (Payments Hub)
Location : Remote (100% remote work authorized within Spain)
Are you a skilled Java Developer ready to lead the way in cutting-edge payment technology? We're seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Payments Hub team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of the Icon Payments Framework (IPF)—an advanced, flexible software framework that seamlessly integrates with core banking and back-office payment systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive the practical development of IPF within large-scale, distributed agile projects.
2. Code high-quality software solutions using Java, AKKA, and Spring, adhering to established development standards and patterns.
3. Solve complex problems guided by Kanban values and ensure excellence through TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) processes.
4. Actively participate in product engineering and play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions.
Qualifications:
1. 3-6 years of experience in Java and related technologies.
2. Expertise in Java 8+, Microservices (Spring Boot), and SQL.
3. Experience in mobile and web application development.
4. Desirable knowledge of IPF (Icon Payments Framework by ICON solutions).
5. A proven track record of mentoring junior developers (minimum 2 years).
6. Proficiency in Android, Objective C, Selenium & Appium, OpenEdge ABL, Angular JS, Akka.
7. Hands-on experience with CI (Continuous Integration) tools.
8. Knowledge of Oracle Certification, Linux environments, and Agile methodologies.
9. 100% remote work from anywhere in Spain.
