What we expect
Your main mission as an STRATEGIC PURCHASER in our Purchasing team at TK AIRPORT SOLUTIONS will be identify and develop key suppliers, explore new sourcing opportunities, and help us build strong, reliable supply partnerships. You will play a key role in improving efficiency and driving smart cost optimization across our procurement activities.
Among your responsabilities, you will find these following ones:
- Develop and continuously optimize sourcing strategies.
- Execute forecasting activities and analyze global market trends.
- Identify and develop strategically relevant suppliers worldwide, building strong and sustainable partnerships.
- Secure and maintain the most competitive and reliable sources of supply for required components and materials.
- Evaluate, review, and conduct regular meetings with key suppliers.
- Initiate and manage contracting processes, performing technical and commercial analyses when required.
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with other Strategic Purchasers within the Group, sharing best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure that internal customer requirements are aligned with current market offerings.
- Prepare procurement reports and monitor spending against departmental budgets or supply categories.
- Analyze and assess the sourcing market for assigned products and categories.
- Participate in supplier quality activities, including corrective action processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production departments in the development of new products.
Who we are looking for
Located in Asturias (Spain), in our offices at TK Airport Solutions in Mieres, we are looking for a new collaborator who meets the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, complemented by specialized training in procurement and supply chain processes.
- Solid experience in strategic sourcing within multinational or high-volume procurement environments.
- Strong negotiation skills (commercial and contractual).
- Market analysis and supplier evaluation capabilities.
- Cost breakdown analysis and budget control.
- Experience managing large supplier portfolios and significant spend.
- Understanding of technical specifications in industrial environments (Engineering collaboration).
- Knowledge of procurement governance, supplier qualification processes, and quality coordination.
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong reporting and KPI monitoring capabilities.
- Advanced communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Structured and organized working style.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail without losing strategic focus.
