What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Linux infrastructure professional with a strong background in environments based on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, preferably within the space sector. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with enterprise Linux systems, databases, and security-oriented COTS solutions, and is interested in applying the latest COTS and open source technologies to space systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain Linux-based infrastructure supporting COTS solutions.
* Manage and support database systems in operational environments.
* Monitor and assess vulnerabilities using recognized databases and tools.
* Stay up to date with COTS and open source trends relevant to the space sector.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in space projects, ground segments, or related equipment.
Requirements
* Professional experience in Linux system administration.
* Experience working with infrastructure or solutions based on software COTS.
* Knowledge of database systems such as Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
* Up-to-date knowledge of COTS solutions and vulnerability databases.
* Professional level of English.
Optional / Nice-to-Have
* Experience using Nessus for vulnerability scanning.
* Networking knowledge (switches and firewalls).
* Background in systems engineering and good practices in requirements management.
* Previous experience in space projects, ground segment systems, or related equipment.
