Based in the HQs in Madrid, the Structured Finance and M&A Analyst will support the team and work closely with the other Financial and investment Teams to ensure the global analytical cycle of the Company.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the financing processes of the company, both corporate and Project Finance: long term loans, bridge facilities, refinancing, capital markets, and other financing instruments.
* Assist in the M&A processes of the company, both in the acquisition and sale of projects: origination and execution of transactions.
* Assist in the business development process: feasibility studies, auctions and PPAs.
* Produce and supervise the projects’ financial models related to the processes of financing, M&A and business development.
Experience:
* 1 or 2 years in IPP, investment banking or financial consulting in energy or infrastructure, in a similar Structured Finance and M&A role.
Required skills:
* Strong academic background: degree in ADE, economy, finance or engineering; training in financial modelling is also highly appreciated.
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting: prior financial modelling for energy or infrastructure projects and VBA experience will be valued.
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Motivation, proactivity, teamworking and communication.
* Professional fluency in English. Knowledge of French or German would be an advantage.
Primary location is Madrid, with availability for international travel.
