Senior Legal Counsel role with high autonomy and strategic exposure

You will join an international company with operations across several European jurisdictions, currently strengthening its internal structure and governance. The organisation operates in a modern, fast‐evolving environment with a strong focus on innovation, technology and cross‐border collaboration.
The role is based in Barcelona and works closely with senior stakeholders across different countries, offering high visibility within the business and direct impact on decision‐making.
Your mission will be to act as the sole in‐house legal counsel, providing end‐to‐end legal support across the business and coordinating with external advisors where required. The successful candidate will take a pragmatic, business‐oriented approach, ensuring legal compliance while enabling commercial objectives.
Reporting directly to VP of finance, your main responsibilities will include, among others:
Acting as the primary internal legal point of contact for all legal matters across the business;
Managing and drafting a wide range of commercial and corporate contracts, including agreements with clients, suppliers and partners;
Advising on corporate governance, corporate law matters and day‐to‐day legal queries from internal stakeholders;
Leading compliance matters, including data protection and regulatory topics, in coordination with external advisors where necessary;
Taking ownership of employment law matters across different jurisdictions, managing external employment counsel and supporting HR and management on labour‐related issues;
Coordinating legal matters across multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Spain and France, and exposure to the UK and Poland;
Monitoring legal risks and proposing practical solutions aligned with business needs;
Supporting international projects and occasional cross‐border initiatives, including limited travel to other European locations when required.

Permanent position based in Barcelona;
Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, in line with company policy;
Competitive base salary range of €85,000 - €100,000, depending on experience;
Variable compensation of approximately 10-20%;
