Paid Media Specialist & Analyst
Location: Remote from Spain (an indefinite Spanish employment contract)
We are looking for a Senior Digital Paid Media Specialist & Analyst to join our Global Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will bring practical experience with global digital campaign analysis, paid media expertise and data‐driven insight generation. This role will help shape and scale our Customer digital marketing analytics capabilities.
You will work cross‐functionally with global and local marketing teams and media agencies to bring clarity to campaign performance, optimize investment, and connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Paid Media Specialist to lead our global data‐driven decision‐making initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in creating and executing comprehensive analytics strategies that empower international brands.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, with a focus on strategic analysis and insights
* 3+ years of experience in planning, running and optimizing paid display, paid social and programmatic campaigns.
* 3+ years hands‐on on Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic platforms
* 3+ years of end‐to‐end campaign setup, optimization, and reporting across these channels
* Advanced proficiency with GA4, GTM, and data‐visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, Qlik)
* Experience working with data lakes/warehouses (Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, SnapLogic)
* Experience with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Datorama).
* Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable growth strategies for global or multi‐market audiences, delivering measurable business impact
* Excellent quantitative and qualitative reporting skills; ability to craft compelling narratives from analytics outputs that link insights to potential ROI
* Passion for performance/growth marketing, self‐driven with a continuous improvement attitude, and eagerness to learn and scale into new advertising platforms and strategies
* Strong problem‐solving, project management, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
* Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
Will be a plus:
* Google Ads, Meta, or other relevant paid‐media certifications
* Salesforce and Marketing Cloud experience
* Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
* Strong background in statistical analysis/predictive modeling; proficiency in R or Python is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Strategic Analytics Leadership:
* Develop and implement Global Digital Marketing Analytics & Data Strategy & Roadmap
* Identify and capitalize on emerging digital marketing trends and technologies
* Provide strategic insights to inform and enhance global digital marketing initiatives
* Engage with regional business owners and global Centers of Excellence to identify, scope, and define advanced analytics use cases
Advanced Data Analysis and Visualization:
* Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, marketing performance, and web analytics
* Create sophisticated dashboards and data visualizations to communicate complex insights
* Develop and optimize attribution models to accurately measure campaign effectiveness
* Create campaign and website performance reports
Campaign Optimization and Performance Measurement:
* Design and implement robust measurement strategies for digital campaigns and web properties, including tag management
* Lead A/B testing initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization
* Review and test campaigns, analyzing key metrics to identify opportunities for performance improvement
Take on the subject matter expert role in paid media:
* Develop local/global paid media strategies and launch high-performance digital campaigns (demand generation, nurturing) across advertising platforms (all things Paid Display, Paid Social and Programmatic)
* Set up and maintain multiple PPC campaigns including writing ads, design campaign structure, bid strategies, conversion tracking, audience targeting, landing pages, and other variables to improve performance of ad spend
* provide recommendations and best practices towards framing new campaign and optimizing live ones to achieve the best results and ROI on paid investment
* Create and manage remarketing, look-a-like and other custom audiences across all paid media platforms
Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication:
* Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to colleagues, senior managers, and clients
* Lead global initiatives to educate business teams in interpreting and using analytics
* Identify data/system challenges and requirements to improve speed to insight and action
Technical Leadership and Innovation:
* Spearhead the adoption and integration of advanced analytics tools and methodologies
* Lead the transition to and full utilization of GA4 and other next-generation analytics platforms
* Explore and implement machine learning and AI applications in marketing analytics
